Why I started this group program

Hi! I'm Heather Rozen, physical therapist and womens wellness coach.

I created The Whole Woman, a 4 week group coaching program in part through the lens of a midlife woman who frequently was over scheduled, overworked, and had become a chronic people pleaser.

I didn’t realize it at the time but my constant busyness allowed me to avoid asking myself some important questions. What was that constant pit in my stomach?

Was I really doing what I wanted or was I doing what was expected of me? How much of my life was I choosing and how much was dictated by culture? 

I also created this program through the lens of a healthcare provider. I worked for years as a physical therapist, movement expert and health and wellness educator.

I saw the gaping holes in the healthcare system. The confusion around nutrition and exercise strategies, the poor understanding of the body's stress response and nervous system and the lack of understanding of how unhealthy the relationship is between women, food and body image. 

My people pleasing tendencies, lack of boundaries, major life changes, and a pandemic kicked my ass. I was exhausted and came to a complete halt.

I drew on all of the spiritual, healing and stress reducing tools that I had learned to date and they weren’t enough.

I hired a therapist, multiple coaches and joined communities as well as implemented strategies that facilitated my physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Then I got to work. I’ve been compiling everything I’ve learned about physical and mental well-being. And I’ve been coaching women how to find relief from overwhelm and apathy so that they can find their inspiration and create a life they want with clarity.
